Goals
- To establish a Missions Research and Information Centre in the region.
- To establish a Missions Trust Fund to ensure the effectiveness of CGMA.
- To facilitate the establishment in the region of a Centre for the cross-cultural raining of missionaries.
- To facilitate the development in print and electronic media, productions with strong Caribbean cultural appeal that teach and challenge to greater missions responsibility and the involvement of individual Christians and institutions in missions.
- To facilitate churches of the region in the process of recruitment, evaluation and placement of missionaries.
Activities
- To collaborate, advise, and encourage theological institutions in theoretical and practical curriculum development regarding missions.
- To assist local churches in the region in planning and conducting annual missions conferences.
- To challenge individual Christians in the Caribbean to develop a "World Christian" perspective.
- To encourage in Caribbean churches missions teaching, giving, and challenging through seminars, workshops, pulpit preaching, printed materials, films, videos, audio, dramatic productions, etc.
- To seek the establishing of relationships with organisations outside the region that can help vitally with the growth and development of missions within the region and beyond.
